Hello, I’m Lynne.
Join me in helping professionals and communities understand the aging brain while building skills to interact with those experiencing its changes - through training, workshops and healthcare education.
Why This Unique Training and Education Matters
By 2030, the “Silver Tsunami” will hit. The wave of aging Americans will reach 70 million Americans. 1 in 5 will be 65 or older.
Over 9 million will be living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias, nearly doubling today’s numbers.
80% of those experiencing brain change currently live in their communities rather than in care facilities.
As a result, public-facing professionals are likely to encounter someone navigating these changes yet most feel unprepared to respond with confidence, empathy and practical skills.
Connecting communities to resources.
Understand and learn to navigate different parts of the healthcare system when an emergency arises or ongoing care is needed.
Interactive workshops to build confidence and compassion in dementia situations.
Develop skills to quickly assess a situation with the ability to adapt your interaction accordingly.
Specialized training and education
“We’ll work together to customize training and education to build confidence, clarity, and connection.”

I had the great pleasure of attending the Aging in Crystal Lake program this afternoon. I wanted to thank you for your work organizing the program and hosting the program. It was educational, informative, insightful, and enjoyable. Each of the panelists provided important and useful information about how to prepare for successful aging at home. Now I have to do all of my “homework”!

One of the most impactful experiences I’ve had in healthcare took place in Lake Zurich, Illinois at the Ela Township Community Center, and was led by Lynne O’Malley.
Community partners from across the continuum such as Fire Department, Home Healthcare, hospital departments, medical equipment providers, and more came together to walk seniors through a fictional narrative that illustrated the aging journey and the options available at each stage.
The event was not only engaging but truly beneficial for everyone who attended. It was inspiring to see so many organizations unite with a shared purpose in empowering seniors with knowledge and confidence as they navigate their healthcare decisions. Thank you, Lynne, for inviting us to be a part of such meaningful and collaborative work!
